Beautiful Loch Maree is right outside our door and considered one of Scotland's most scenic areas with its many conservation accolades reflecting its beauty, rare plants and rich wildlife.

The magical landscape behind Game of Thrones is also around here, as is Strome Castle and there are other lochs to visit, including the famous Loch Ness, the stunning beaches to visit and the coastal route for a panoramic walk or drive.

THE BUNK HOUSE
"Relax, you're on glamping time."
Ledgowan Bunkhouse is a small self-catering bunkhouse a short walk from Achnasheen railway station, set right in the midst of the glorious Highlands and near the scenic north coast route.
​
It sleeps 5 guests in 5 rooms, so each guest has their own room with wash basin , with a pleasant communal dining area, kitchen and bathroom.
Perfect for enjoying outdoors in comfort in every season. The Bunk House is fully centrally heated, so warm and cosy in the magical winter months.
​
There is an onsite bar for drinks and coffee etc. and of course you can book a table in the restaurant as a treat on top of your self-catering.
.Please note that all guests are required to bring their own bedding or sleeping bags, although pillows and pillow slips are provided.
